Upcoming Charitable Events

Centennial Airport is proud to support a variety of charitable events throughout the year, many of which take place right here at our airport. These events bring together our airport community, local partners, and aviation enthusiasts to make a positive impact in the Denver Metro area and beyond. Below, you’ll find upcoming opportunities to participate, volunteer, or contribute, helping us continue our tradition of giving back. 

 

Morgan Adams Concours d’Elegance

Date: August 23rd

Time: 6-10pm

Location: Centennial Airport, Signature Aviation (North)

The Morgan Adams Foundation funds kids’ cancer research. They raise awareness of, and educate communities about, the need for pediatric and young adult specific cancer treatments. Working with leading researchers and physicians, they fund new and innovative ideas that will improve cancer treatment effectiveness, overall outcomes, survival rates and quality of life while minimizing the devastating side effects current treatments have on our children. Wings of Hope – The Art of Hope

Date: September 6th

Time: 6-9pm

Location: Vehicle Vault in Parker

Wings of Hope for pancreatic cancer research, founded in 2012, is dedicated to raising awareness and funding for pancreatic cancer research at the University of Colorado Cancer Center, while at the same time providing support and resources to patients, family members, and caregivers. Douglas County Community Foundation Heroes Gala

Date: September 12th

Time: 5:30-10pm

Location: Centennial Airport, Signature Aviation (South)

The Douglas County Community Foundation provides leadership and responsible stewardship of philanthropic resources to strengthen the community and enrich the lives of every resident in Douglas County. This event honors Douglas County first responders, Armed Forces members, and nonprofit partner organizations to raise funds for DCCF and the Community Emergency Relief Fund. Challenge Air for Kids and Friends – Denver Fly Day

Date: September 13th

Time: 8am-4pm

Location: Centennial Airport, Modern Aviation 

Challenge Air was created to change the perception of Children with special needs through the gift of flight. With a network of 3,500 volunteers nationwide, they continue to grow through events called “Fly Days”. Challenge Air provides an unforgettable growing experience that opens the door to possibilities while allowing the children to see that if they can fly a plane, they can do anything!  Please see the following link for more information on Challenge Air’s mission and fly day events. HERE

 

AeroAngel Light Up the Sky

Date: September 20th

Time: 6-10pm

Location: Centennial Airport, WOTR Exploration of Flight

AeroAngel is a charity organization that provides critically ill children with safe, free private jet flights to reach distant medical care. With over 15 years of flights, AeroAngel has provided over 450 flights to more than 500 children.
